Testing Juniper SRX

On February 5, 2009 BreakingPoint and Juniper Networks tested the Juniper SRX5800 Services Gateway with more than 100 Gigabits per second (Gbps) of blended Layer 4-7 application traffic and live security strikes, not to mention 150 Gbps of throughput. The first ever public test of the Juniper SRX5800 included:

• Juniper Networks SRX5800 Services Gateway becoming the first network device tested with over 100 Gbps of blended Layer 4-7 application traffic.
  
• The SRX achieved 150 Gbps of stateless traffic and 30 Gbps of intrusion prevention with recommended policies.
  
• BreakingPoint conducted the test of the Juniper Networks SRX with a single configuration of six BreakingPoint Elite blades, all managed from a single user interface and producing integrated reports.
