BreakingPoint Test Methodologies

The BreakingPoint test methodologies were developed by the BreakingPoint Labs team based on their experience developing a variety of high-performance network equipment. These test methodologies document processes for validating the performance and reliability of next generation network devices.

The following test methodologies are created using BreakingPoint network equipment testing tools for performance and security testing. Using the results of these individual device tests BreakingPoint has published test methodologies for Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) and coming soon Firewalls.
