What Is Cyber Tomography?

Cyber Tomography is a scientific method of identifying the weaknesses and vulnerabilities of a cyber infrastructure component in order to measure its resiliency under high-stress hostile conditions. A Cyber Tomography Machine (CTM) is much like a CAT scan, where the “T” stands for Tomography. While a medical CAT scan involves the injection of dyes and the emission of radiation in order to image the patient, a CTM emits extreme application and malicious stress vectors into components, such as network switches, routers, firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, servers, and data centers. The CTM then records and displays the effects over time.
