Server Load Testing Functionality and RFC 2544 Test Lab

If you follow our Twitter feed you probably saw us talking yesterday about a new screencast we put up on the website where Dennis goes through two new features that came along with the increased bandwidth of 40 Gbps of L4-7 blended application traffic update. In a quick four minute demo Dennis takes you through these key features, which many of you have mentioned in conversations on the blog and elsewhere.

First is our Server Load Testing capabilities, which enables high-performance L4-7 server load balancer testing with any protocol mix. Using BreakingPoint you can now ensure content-aware Application Servers, Application Delivery Controllers, Load Balancers, WAN Accelerators, and Proxy devices are delivering high-availability web services to users with predictable performance. This new functionality is also ideal for testing things like Destination NAT and Reverse Proxy capabilities.

Secondly, the automated RFC 2544 test lab allows you to easily combine realistic application protocols to emulate different types of network traffic for these benchmark tests. This is really great for folks who want to quickly run these tests with just a few clicks of the mouse.

Dennis shows you both of these features in this new screencast, let me know what you think:
