Sales Director

In this position, you will manage all phases of customer account development for a particular vertical target market or group of accounts. You will help to attain aggressive sales goals by working directly with your AVP and Sales Engineers, while leveraging other available resources.

Reports To: AVP of Sales

Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity and marketing initiatives
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
  • Collaborate with current and potential customers to define critical business issues, planning, and deployment of BreakingPoint products and services
  • Prepare and present sales presentations, proposals, and sales contracts
  • Maintain opportunities in BreakingPoint’ existing CRM systems. Maintenance will include pipeline management, next step planning and a thorough knowledge of the CRM system

  • Establish and maintain current and potential customer relationships

Systems Engineer

In this position, you will manage technical development of customer accounts for a particular vertical target market. You will help attain aggressive sales goals by working directly with your Sales Director.

Reports To: Sales Director

Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
  • Investigate and understand customer “pain points” and focus message to explain how we can address these specific issues
  • Travel to visit potential and existing clients in order to establish new, and maintain existing, long-term relationships with customers
  • Gather detailed information on customer requirements, providing feedback to engineering for future product enhancements where necessary

Business Response Engineer

We are currently looking for a Business Response Engineer. In this role, you will be working under product development to assist in the sale and support of BreakingPoint products that are currently shipping. This is a highly visible role, as it will require someone with product development skills, allowing them to work closely with the development (software & hardware), sales, and support teams.

Security Research Engineer

We are currently looking for a Security Research Engineer to identify and investigate new vulnerabilities in networking enabled products. This individual will be expected to work closely with the other members of the Application and Threat Intelligence (ATI) team.

Location: Austin, TX

Reports to: Director of the Application Intelligence Program

Responsibilities:

  • Develop live exploits for discovered vulnerabilities, to be used in BreakingPoint’s current and future product lines
  • Perform targeted customer and industry research to assist in developing tools and test cases to validate the performance, security, and stability of cyber infrastructure devices
  • Compose white papers about your research for publication
  • Contribute to our well-read blog about any technical topic of interest, including day-to-day work or outside interests, when possible

Federal Sales Systems Engineer

Overview:

Based in the western US, the Pre-Sales Systems Engineer (SE) is responsible for supporting their assigned Federal Sales Director with all technical elements of the sales process while selling BreakingPoint process to all federal agencies and related Integrators within the region. The Systems Engineer’s primary charter is to obtain solution closure within the sales cycle from the technical buyer, and to maintain account satisfaction with BreakingPoint products.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

The selected candidate must have a minimum 5 years of professional industry experience as a sales engineer into the federal government, namely DoD, National labs and integrators . Demonstrate understanding and proficiency in Layer 4-7 applications and content aware technologies such as IPS/IDS, firewalls, deep packet inspection and load balancers. Be able to configure and understand the test environment-IP addressing, client/server, traffic types, and performance benchmarks. The candidate must possess direct experience and knowledge of agencies’ process of product evaluation and certification using traffic and threat generation tools. Possess a professional appearance and the ability to provide a positive company image.

Qualifications also include:

  • TS minimum and TS/SCI clearances preferred

Federal Sales Director

Overview:

Responsible for sales prospecting, development and closure of federal DOD and civilian accounts for BreakingPoint Systems. Applicant should have extensive experience and success with federal system sales for network security, application (L4-7) and performance testing scenarios. This position will require an active Top Secret clearance and a history of success in selling to government agencies as well as with federal integrators and FFRDC’s. This position will provide key input into marketing strategies and long-range business plans for the BreakingPoint’s Government Solutions Group.

In addition to above skill sets, this position will identify and participate in marketing events, such as trade shows and seminars that support growth and campaigns in support of specific objectives. Individual will also work in conjunction with the business unit, group and corporate marketing communications staff to develop advertising and marketing collateral that supports specific products and marketing objectives. Accounts are located throughout the US and there will be at least 50% travel required for customer visits to support other business development, strategic planning, and to support direct work requirements.
